Security Puncture Stop provides high protection against flat tyres that lasts several years. Security Puncture Stop is a water-based gel, which is filled into the tyre.
It is most appropriate to fill it in the tyre as a preventive measure. But it can also be used as a puncture repair kit. The 250-ml bottle is suitable for smaller tyres, such as bicycle, handcart, wheelbarrow tyres.
The liquid spare wheel is a set of a 1000-ml bottle and a small compressor and is used as a punture repair kit for car tyres (not as a preventive measure).
What is Security Puncture Repair Kit?
Security is a preventive and lasting puncture protection. With Security the hole is sealed the very same moment it occurs. That means: filled in advance – no more puncture repair!
How does Security work?
Security remains elastic (fluid) in the tyre and settles down on the inner surface of the tyre because of the centrifugal force during driving.
That means that there is a protective coat of the fluid on the tread of the tyre.
If there is a puncture the air pressure makes the liquid move into the hole.
The fibres contained in Security get stuck in there and therewith seal the hole permanently.
Security seals holes the second they occur.
Maintains air pressure!
In tyres of slow moving vehicles, e.g. wheelbarrows, handcarts, wheelchairs, Security "swims" at the bottom of the tyre, where punctures can occur.
Security is always in the right position!
Is it also possible to repair an already punctured tyre with Security?
Yes! Although Security Puncture Stop is designed as a preventive and permanent puncture prevention, it can also seal already existing holes.
But you should check that the hole is not larger than:
3-5 mm for bicycles, mopeds, scooters, pushchairs
5-7 mm for trailers, utility vehicles and the like.
Also valve splits can not be sealed!
For normal damage:
pour in Security, pump up the tyre until it is firm and move tyre or start driving the vehicle immediately to enable Security to move into the holes
What kinds of damage can be fixed with Security?
Security Puncture Stop seals all holes up to a maximum diameter of 7mm in the tread. Security will not seal punctures or splits on the sidewalls of the tyre.
